Where is there a direct bus to Capilla del Monte from?
From Buenos Aires (Retiro), Rosario, Córdoba, Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja, Mar del Plata and several more cities. From the rest of the country the usual way is to reach Córdoba city and continue on the regional bus, hourly, about two hours.
How much is a ticket to Capilla del Monte?

How long is the bus from Buenos Aires?
Between 10 y 13 horas, depending on the company and stops. Overnight buses leave Retiro between 8 and 11 pm and reach Capilla early morning: those get you there in time to climb Cerro Uritorco the same day, since entry is from 7 to 11.

Should I book in advance?
For long weekends, winter holidays, Easter and full-moon dates at Uritorco, yes: overnight buses from Buenos Aires and Rosario sell out. In low season there are usually seats the same day.
How do I get from the terminal to my hotel or the mountain?
Downtown is walkable: the terminal is three blocks from the square. For Cerro Uritorco, Los Terrones or Ongamira there are taxis and tours; La Toma river beach is 3.5 km away and walkable too.
