Capilla del Monte in 2 days

Two days is enough if one goes to the mountain and the other to the town. The order is not a preference: to reach the summit of Uritorco you have to be going through the gate before 11am, and the hike takes the whole day. Everything else fits around that.

1. 1

   Cerro Uritorco

   3 km from downtown 6-7 hours round trip (about 4 hours up and 3 down)

   Day 1, early. The gate for summit attempts closes at 11 and you must start down by 3pm, so it does not fit in half a day or combine with anything else.

   La Techada

   Downtown 30 minutes to 1 hour to walk through it and visit the shops

   Day 2, to start. It is the town’s shopping street and it is right downtown, good for breakfast and a first look around without driving.

   El Zapato

   1 km from downtown 30 to 45 minutes to tour and take photos.

   Day 2. A kilometre from downtown, short, and the photo everyone takes home from Capilla.

   Centro de Informes OVNI

   200 m from downtown 45 minutes to 1 hour

   Day 2, to finish. It is short and right downtown, so it fits even if the morning ran long.

If day one starts with rain, flip the plan and leave the mountain for the second day: entry usually closes in the rain. And if the mountain is out both days, the town and its surroundings will fill them anyway.
